A century and half later, the legacy of providing opportunity and transforming lives through access to a quality education continues at 圣奥古斯汀’s University.
More than one-third of all black priests in 圣公会, including three 非洲n-American bishops, are graduates of 圣奥古斯汀’s University, which is one of only two historically Black colleges affiliated with the Church.

牧师. 查尔斯·艾弗里 was a Methodist minister and one of the initial benefactors of 圣奥古斯汀’s Normal School.The memorial window on the west side of the chapel is named in his honor.牧师. Sarah Lothrop Taylor 猎人 was the founder and head of Saint Agnes Hospital and Training School for Nurses.
